Castle Cross is an imaginary like place supposedly visited by one gnome traveler by the name of "Rambling Charley" in a story from "1-2-3 Gnomes!" In his tale he comes on the castle looking for work as the gnomes depicted are busy on the gardens. You might actually see him as he arrives in this amusing Storybook Land venue of country charms somewhere there as on a dusty path that is in fact just over the little babbling brook by way of the ancient stone house bridge by the rams in the scene? Very picturesque it is!
