About Bill Perkins
Worth a second and third look - and perhaps much and many more also as due to the patterns of compelling complex imagery as all within the highly original fine arts designs - the artworks of drawings and the other related arts works as by Bill Perkins speak volumes of content no less too! Just take a recent composition of Fairy Houses as by him as for a breakdown of parts of the project so far completed: 1) "Stumptown Lodgings" so titled small black lined drawing completed within some 2 days as started as an art demonstration at The Bohemian Treasures arts crafts store located in Beaverton, Oregon one Saturday afternoon in the Summer. 2) Later the design of a small drawing in black lines titled as "Dandy Gnome" completed at Artists...

I made this art design as an art demonstration piece one recent day at The Artfull Garden store in Hillsboro, Oregon on Tuesday 10, 2012. I used just 1 good new art pen without an extra of an eraser or pencil to help: it was a Faber Castell SX Pitt Pen of black line quality and I finished the demo piece by early the next day too after about 9 hours total work. The owner of The Artfull Garden store was happy that I completed it and soon asked if it was available for sale that day. I worked for 3 hours at this shop where I sell my greeting cards designs on the demo as people came in to look. My friend Scott McCord asked me then to be interviewed later on the Public Access Tualatin County TV channel as his star guest sometime very soon! I was quite excited! We talked for a 1/2 hour about that as I drew the above picture too. So that is the story or so it seems? As for the Fairy she may have come from my Scholl's Ferry home street address too? I guess so! Here starts my Fairy Phase for artistry as opposed to my Gnome Phase which has lasted several years as of now too. Enjoy!
